2021 London Festival - Jul 17, 2021

Question for you: Would you like to be a part of a large, 100 voice chorus of Sweet Adeline singers from Region 12 and Region 13, that will sing in London and Oxford, England next year?  

Date:  July 17-23, 2021
Cost:  $2199 per person 

• This is for the land tour only (does not include airfare)
•  Includes:  lodging, sightseeing, venues, buses, and receptions Based on double occupancy room
• Deposit is $300 each
  • Two additional payments; paid in full 3 months before departure.
  • If you break this into 12 months, starting in April, it averages about $145/month

Songs:  To be determined

• 20-minute performances
• Perform 3 times over 6 days in England 
• Lots of sightseeing
• Receptions every evening – meeting other singers from around the world

Directors:

• Kathy Scheel, Master Director, Oregon Spirit Chorus
• Dede Nibler, Master Director, Sacramento Valley Chorus

Other performers:

• Lustre, the 2018 Queens of Harmony!
• Choruses from two other regions may be performing!
• Region 12’s chorus will include women from all over the region, as well as others nearby (i.e., friends in the Portland area)

Additional options:

•  Following the Oxford performance, there was originally going to be a Sienne River cruise in France, but it has now changed to a land tour.  You may want to go to Calais, France for 2 nights in a village on the beach.  While there, we would perform at the American Cemetery in Normandy, followed by 3 nights in Paris.  This includes trips to Monet’s Gardens, tickets to the Louvre, performing at Montmarte. The website link shown below will be updated soon to reflect this land tour (instead of a cruise).
• It is possible that some singers will travel to Scotland and Ireland rather than France.  
• Guests/family members are welcome to go on the trip with us. 

For every singer that goes on this trip, Harmony Travel will donate $100 to the Sweet Adelines Overtone Society!
