Hello Everyone,
We just had our retreat prior to competition, and we had a new (to us) coach. Her name is Lindsay Chartier from Frisco,Texas. She is a member of both BHS and SAI and directs choruses in both organizations (BHS - Southwest Sound and SAI - Note-Ably). She is a member of Harmony Incorporated and was once a director of the award-winning Montreal City Voices before she moved to Texas. She has performed at the International level in both choruses and quartets. She is a three-time International Quartet Champion in Harmony Inc., a Top 10 International Quartet Medalist in Sweet Adelines (Titanium), and a Rising Star Champion (SAI - 2002). What incredible credentials! We really enjoyed working with her.
We are experiencing a growth in our chorus. We recently added two new members and currently have 4 folks who are visiting, including one who has a sister who sings with Ryan Heller's chorus in Texas.
We are also preparing for our Friends and Family Event that will take place on Aprill 29 at our current rehearsal location. More details will follow in our next chapter chat.
