Hello from SVC! I am still "ringing" with excitement after attending that Saturday night Pep Rally at AIM weekend. If you weren't there, you really missed out. Our competitors going to International are going to take that stage by storm! That includes Diablo Vista Chorus, Gusto, and Twilight! If you aren't going to International, try to take advantage of the webcast because you don't want to miss their performances!
By the time you get this newsletter, we will have performed at our annual show, Batastic, on September 27th. Our dress rehearsals have been tons of fun so I'm sure it will be a huge success.
We have some coaching sessions you should know about in case you would like to come and observe. The first one is with Ryan Heller on October 3-4. It starts on Friday at 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm and continues all day on Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It's happening at the Citrus Heights Community Center at 6300 Fountain Square Drive (near the corner of Greenback and Fountain Square). We will also be coached by Caitlin Castelino on November 14-15. More about this one in the next chapter chat.
We are also starting to prepare for the Christmas season by singing at the Capitol Rotunda in December. We will also be delivering singing Christmas grams to family and friends. Anyone can purchase one of these by calling Judi Naill. But more about that to follow next month.
