Hello Everyone,
On August 2, we held the first session of our annual Harmony Academy. We received fourteen inquiries, and twelve people actually attended our rehearsal. It was so exciting to see all those new people. Several have expressed an interest in becoming members, which would be absolutely wonderful. The academy runs until October, so if you know someone from our area who might be interested in singing, please give them our information.
I have talked about our annual show we call "Batastic," but there has been a change. It was scheduled for October 11 but has now been changed to September 27. It will be held at the Elks Lodge at 6446 Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento. The cost of a ticket is now $60, which includes both dinner and the show. The type of food will be announced soon, so mark your calendars and make plans to be there.
