 Want to improve your singing skills or learn the art of singing in a medium- to large-sized chorus? We will soon be starting our annual Harmony Academy. It will run from August 6 through October 8 at our rehearsal space at Arden Church of the Nazarene, 3337 Arden Way in Sacramento 95825. All rehearsals start at 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and folks who participate will have the opportunity to sing some songs with us at our annual show entitled "Batastic" on October 11. For those interested, our flyer (pictured above) contains a QR code that folks can scan to register. People can also elect to contact our marketing coordinator, Alison Miller (marketing.coord@ .  Check to see if this event is available in your area. All funds raised are returned to the chorus as an important fundraiser. It’s time for Race for the arts!! SATURDAY, AUGUST 23, 2025 Time for a fun, fabulous, fitness experience with your best SVC buddies! Be a member of the SVC team and earn some serious cash for the chorus! We can register at least 10 participants and enjoy a 20% discounted entry fee, enjoy the cool breeze wafting off the Sacramento Zoo, and get fit. What could be better? A brunch with the gang afterward, you ask—of course! Questions? Just ask. Forms and entry checks must be submitted together to get the discount, and I’m happy to do that. Entry fee this year is $40.00. Let’s go SVC!! When we have at least 10 entries, I’m happy to mail in your check and entry form. Do not write a check until we have 10+ registrations—I’ll let you know when. Thanks! You’ll get a cool, artist designed tee shirt and a memory of a lifetime---fun lifetime, when you register. A memorial service will be held on August 23, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
