Hello from Sacramento Valley Chorus, everyone. It's a really busy time for us and for many of you as well. We had a coaching session with Caitlin Castelino on March 28th and 29th at the Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge. It was a wonderful time filled with great learning as we ramp up to contest!
We will be presenting a Friends and Family show on April 16 at a time and location to be arranged. This is a chance to see our package before competition as well as music we have added to our repertoire.
After competition, we will have our annual potluck and installation of the new management team. We are honored to once again have Barb Vander Putten as our installation officer. It's always a delight when she's involved.
On the horizon are a couple of events. We have submitted an application to perform at the California State Fair, but it will be some time before we know if we have been accepted. The other is our annual show called "Batastic" on October 11. Many details will be forthcoming.
In the meantime, see you all in Sparks, Nevada!
