We just completed our second 2- day coaching session with Judy Pozsgay within the span of two months. We know that a number of you have experienced the amazing talents of this coach, whose focus includes choreography. When we were coached by her two months ago, she focused primarily on our sound and improving our ballad. But this time, there was more of an emphasis on choreography and making our uptune more fun and entertaining. How lucky are we! And even more exciting is the fact that we will be coached by Ryan Heller at the end of February. More information about this will be included in our February chat, so stay tuned.
Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and we are busily planning our singing valentines fundraiser. We will be sending out various quartets to sing in-person to the person of your choice, be it love or friendship. We will soon be "open for business" when the quartets are approved and ready to perform.
In the interest of increasing our involvement in the community, we have looked for and received information about singing the national anthem at a Rivercats game and received an invitation to sing at the California State Fair that happens in July. We are likely to be really busy in the next few months, including our annual retreat, participation in the Region 12 Competition in Sparks Nevada, Singing Valentines, the National Anthem at a Rivercats game, and singing at the California State Fair.
