We have begun our annual Harmony Academy that will extend for at least seven weeks. Guests are invited to sing with us and consider participating in our annual show on October 26. They may also opt to sing Christmas music with us during the holidays. If you know of anyone from our area who would love to sing, please refer them to Becky Garcia at bgbluediva@gmail.com or scan the QR code from the flyer.
As reported before, we are busy producing a show called "Batastic" which will feature all manner of zombies of various persuasions. In addition to the chorus performances, "Artistic License", an award-winning men's barbershop quartet and member of Barbershop Harmony Society, will serve as headliners. Other performers are several quartets including Seismic Sound, dVine, N R Prime and Yes Indeed. Our daytime group, Extension Chords, will be on the show as well. The date is October 26, so get your tickets early so you don't miss out. Additional information is on the attached flyer.
If you haven't been made aware, there is a memorial for Shirley Kout on November 23rd. It features a tea party and attendance by several members of her family. The tea service will begin at 4:00pm with formal services at 5:30pm. Please note that if you plan to attend, you need to RSVP as soon as possible.
On another sad note, we recently lost Merriann Cree after a long, hard-fought battle with lung cancer. Services are pending.
