Learn to sing 4-part harmony in the a cappella style with Master Director Dede Nibler! Performance opportunity to sing with us at our upcoming Fall show on October 27th ”Batastic Cabaret!” Feel free to share this post! SACRAMENTO VALLEY CHORUS HARMONY ACADEMY – LEARN TO SING September 5, 2018 6:15   Guests begin arriving 6:30   Core, Stretch and Stamina Building (Thriller routine) 7:00   Inspiration, Guest Introductions 7:15   SVC performs “MOONDANCE” for the guests 7:20   Guests leave with Dede for Lesson One, Learn to Sing 7:20   SVC works details of “Smile Medley” with Shirley 7:50   Maxine and Alison come into class and intro themselves and positions in the chorus 8:00   Guests rejoin chorus; All learn “Have You Seen the Ghost of John” round for Batastic; short explanation about Batastic 8:15   Refreshments – this is the time to talk to guests and share why you are a member of SVC and what you have learned 8:25   Guests invited to leave or stay 8:30   SVC works songs and performance skills for AIM performances CHORUS MEMBERS – PLEASE WEAR YOUR SECTION COLORED TEE OR SHIRT. THIS WILL HELP OUR GUESTS UNDERSTAND THE FOUR PARTS AND FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU SING.  PLEASE WEAR YOUR NAME TAG. CHORUS MEMBERS WILL BE RISER BUDDIES – BE PREPARED. YOU WILL RECEIVE A HANDOUT WITH DETAILS ABOUT THIS JOB.
